Introducing the KIWI K4 Duo: A New Audio Head Strap for Quest 3 & 3S

Okay, so here’s the thing—KIWI Design decided to drop this new gadget called the K4 Duo, which is basically an audio and battery head strap for the Quest 3. Or, I guess, for the Quest 3S too. Anyway, it’s one of those things that looks like it could either be a game-changer or just another add-on you’ll forget about.

So, picture this: you’re in your VR zone, lost in some virtual world, and you’ve got these adjustable speakers on your head. Yeah, you can move them around! Plus, there’s this, um, toggle or whatever so you can choose between hearing things from your headset or this strap thingy. They plugged it into the USB-C port. Not sure if that matters to you—does to some people, I guess.

Oh, and it comes with two batteries. Like, substantial ones—2650mAh each if you’re into the technical stuff. All in all, the whole thing weighs 459 grams, and it seems a lot like the other head straps KIWI makes. Like, it has that little wheel thing at the back so you can tighten it up. It’s kind of satisfying to twist, honestly. The padding is memory foam, which sounds all fancy and comfortable, right? And there’s this top strap, too. Why? Don’t ask me.
