Alright, here we go. So, this thing about Little Nightmares 3 — wow, it’s coming out on October 10. Trust me, I triple-checked because, well, dates and I don’t always get along. Anyway, Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games made this big reveal, which kinda got my heart racing. And it’s not just one version — there’s, like, four? I mean, who needs that many? But hey, if you’re into collecting stuff, go wild.
Oh, and remember that announcement two years ago at Gamescom? Feels like yesterday, but also forever ago. Time’s weird like that. Tarsier Studios used to handle it, but now it’s Supermassive’s gig. They did Until Dawn, if that rings a bell. Crazy switch, huh? But fun fact: Tarsier never owned Little Nightmares. Bandai’s got that locked down.
Okay, tangent alert — during the Little Nightmares Showcase on June 24, they dropped the release date for this new entry in the series. Boom! October 10 for PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC — basically everything short of your toaster. And the editions? Standard, Digital Deluxe, Collector, Premium Collector — I swear, any more and my brain might explode.
Side note: that Collector Mirror Edition — it’s got everything: a figurine, metal case, artbook. No idea why anyone needs a Nome controller/phone holder, but it’s there. Cool, right?
By the way, the Enhanced Edition of the first game, which leaked before, is happening for real. Already in early access if you pre-ordered. They’ve added ray tracing, better lighting. Sounds like techy stuff — not entirely my thing but I’m sure it makes everything look cooler. Oh, and the Switch 2 gets in on the action too. Ha! Kinda neat considering it wasn’t even announced yet.
So, yeah, October’s looking like a horror fest. Not just Little Nightmares 3, but things like Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, Confined: Leaving OKB-134. Even some with those mysterious sounding names, The Kharzov Effect, whatever that is — like, what even is that? I’m curious.
And oh, if you dig Supermassive’s style, there’s even more to expect. Directive 8020, again sounds like sci-fi mixed with horror. Or I’m just overselling it, who knows.
Anyway, if you’re ready to be spooked this October, well, here’s your calendar fill-in. It’s gonna be a busy month for horror buffs, for sure.
