Well, here we go. I was poking around and, seriously, inZOI’s been buzzing lately. Not that I’m, like, a total gamer geek or anything. But last month, this game got a massive update. Like, big enough to push from May into June. Which, you know, just happened.
Overall, people seem to dig it, even though I noticed some Steam reviews going south. Maybe it was because of the sale — first one since early access started, by the way — thanks to Krafton taking the leap. But hey, a sale’s a sale, right?
And get this: brighter days are apparently coming, like, pretty soon. There’s this thing on the horizon that’s got players buzzing. Something about gamescom Opening Night Live on August 19. Can you believe it? Geoff Keighley’s running the whole shebang. Yeah, the world’s biggest gaming bash starting with a bang!
They’re throwing in a DLC with all sorts of goodies. First, a new map called Cahaya. Split into two islands! It’s all tropical and Southeast Asia vibes. I didn’t know I needed that. There’s farming and fishing, like, on the main island. Didn’t think I’d get into virtual agriculture, and yet here we are.
The other island’s like a chill spot. After farming, who doesn’t want a resort break? Plus, they’re tossing in a ton of customization stuff with this new map.
And if you’re one of those who’ll be there in person, lucky you — there’s a demo of Cahaya. Hands-on, if you’re into that sort of thing. But the bummer? No official release date yet for the DLC. Fingers crossed that this gamescom thing spills the beans.
Until we know more, you can dive into the ever-present inZOI cheats. Really, they’re super handy. And things like gender changes, curing stuff — basically all you need to know to tweak the game to your whims. There’s karma stuff, too. Honestly, I’m still trying to wrap my head around that last bit.
