As you may know, “Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii” has a quirky mission involving golden balls owned by Goro Majima. But don’t get the wrong idea; these are literal golden balls scattered across different ports that Goromaru visits as part of a side quest.
Initially, some players faced a problem collecting all the golden balls due to a bug. However, this issue has been resolved, so there’s no need to worry or threaten to call on Kiryu. These balls, reminiscent of those you might gather in “Like A Dragon: Gaiden,” are once again obtainable.
This bug fix comes with the latest update—patch 1.12, released today (March 7) by RGG. The patch notes simply state: “Fixed an issue where the golden ball could not be obtained.” It’s anyone’s guess what exactly went wrong. Did a pirate with a penchant for shiny things make off with them? We may never know. But as Thin Lizzy might put it, those wild-eyed balls are back, and that’s what counts.
Moving on to the patch’s other updates across all platforms:
– Solved a problem where manual saving was disabled.
– Addressed an issue where loading saved data while on a ship led to players falling into the ocean with no way back—a humorous predicament, though unintentional.
– Fixed arcade game rankings that weren’t saving correctly.
– Corrected a variety of typos and improved localization issues.
– Implemented various other bug fixes for enhanced stability and quality.
For PC users, the game has been updated to Intel XeSS 2.0.1, and a rare crash during resource loading has been corrected. If you’re using certain NVIDIA GPUs and run into unexpected driver crashes, RGG suggests capping your FPS at 60 through the settings.
