Nintendo Releases for March 20, 2025 – Update

It’s finally here—a week I’ve been anticipating since December 3, 2015.

In case you missed last week’s update, the classic Konami shooter Juno First made its way into the Archives. Just to clarify, that’s the game, not the one starring Elliot Page that swept the Oscars.

Now, let’s take a little trip down memory lane. Nine years, three months, and 15 days ago, I was all over the downloads for the launch of Xenoblade Chronicles X. Back then, I was reviewing it just a few days post-release. Fast forward to now, and we get to experience it on a system that’s actually in a lot more homes. But I warn you—I plan to take my time with this gem. Don’t expect a review until around Easter, as it demands a lengthy deep dive. So, prepare yourselves to disappear into this universe starting Thursday. You’ve been warned!

Now, there are several other titles trying to hold their own against Xenoblade Chronicles X this week. Among them are RPGs like MLB The Show 25 (the regular edition, not those early-access perks) and Atelier Yumia, which my colleague Allyson is reviewing as we speak.
