Okay, so there’s this game, Rain World. Ever heard of it? Videocult whipped it up back in 2017, and now it’s just chilling on Game Pass. Cloud, Console, PC, you name it. You’re this “slugcat” thingy, living life on the edge. It’s got this whole predator-versus-prey vibe. Weird, I know. Little furball with a spear—adorable and deadly. It’s all set in a world falling apart, like they missed garbage day for eons. And those bigger critters? Yeah, they’re not ignoring you. Zero hesitation, snack time for them. Sorry, slugcat.
But wait, there’s more! No joke. More games dropping later this month. Let me haphazardly list ’em because why not?
– Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector? That’s happening August 6th. Console only. Go figure.
– Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, same date. Just seems right.
– MechWarrior 5: Clans, yep, August 6th too. Sensing a theme here.
– Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap on Console, still August 6.
Then bam! Assassin’s Creed: Mirage hits on August 7. Play it anywhere. Nice. Aliens: Fireteam Elite? They drop on the 12th. Loads of fun there. Oh, and who can forget 9 Kings on PC, like some sneak peek thing. That lands on August 14, so mark it—or not.
