Alright, here we go. Fortnite’s throwing some wild new stuff at us in Chapter 6, Season 4. Three medallions up for grabs. Gotta deal with alien Queens. Why? No clue, but hey, shiny rewards, right? Each medallion does its own funky thing, so, like, you might wanna figure out which one you vibe with before jumping in. Trust me; it’s a ride.
So, what’s the deal with these medallions?
How Medallions Work (Sorta…)
Okay, so there’s these three medallions:
-
Surge Medallion – Makes you faster. Zoom zoom, especially when sliding. Feels like I should be a racecar driver with this one.
-
Springleg Medallion – Double jumps and no damage from falls. Seriously, the knees will thank you.
- Carapace Medallion – Gives you a health boost after smacking an opponent. Plus, some bonus shield stuff. Handy, right?
Oh! And these don’t clutter up your bag. They’ve got their own cozy spot in your inventory. No idea why, but it feels neat.
Where to find these bad boys…
So, here’s the thing: these medallions are with these bizarre Queen bugs you gotta squash. Locations? Yep, they’re marked on the map. The little icons look like some kind of serpent thing.
-
Surge Medallion – Hanging out at The Hive up north. Cold up there?
-
Springleg Medallion – Chill at Demon’s Debris down south. Pretty ominous name, huh?
- Carapace Medallion – At Ranger’s Ruin, somewhere west-ish. Classic confusing map direction.
Pro tip: you gotta take out ALL the bugs at the spot to summon the big bad Queen. Then, smack that bug to snag a medallion. Or just eliminate another player who’s done the dirty work for ya – if someone else already has it, that is. Gold-ish circle on the map? Means medallion-holder nearby. Sneaky, sneaky.
There you go. Dive in, have fun, maybe get eaten by alien bugs. Or, you know, win some medallions and brag about it. Happy hunting!
