Whoa, okay, so here’s the deal with Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3, or as they’re calling it—”Galactic Battle.” Yeah, it’s all spacey and Star Wars-y with new places to explore, weapons to play with, and a whole bunch of other stuff that’ll probably distract you for hours. Anyway, Star Wars. Yes, there are lightsabers now. Can you believe it? Took them long enough, huh? You get to swing them around, fly through the air, and all that cool Jedi nonsense. Oh, and you can snag a Stormtrooper outfit for free — finally, something free in this game!
But here’s where it gets wild. They’ve got this map update with new spots to discover. I mean, I’d list them, but then where’s the fun in exploring, right? And talking about weapons, lightsabers are, like, the biggest thing. You’ll find them all over. You get one? Boom, now you’re sprinting all fast and leaping like a frog. And if you manage to nab a Sith Lightsaber by taking down Darth Vader Samurai—don’t ask me who decided on that name—you can do this slick Force saber throw. It’s a whole vibe.
Weapons, weapons, weapons. Yeah, they brought some back too. You know the deal. They sneakily add and remove stuff just to keep us on our toes. Some weapons will pop in and out through the season—keeps things interesting, I guess? Vehicles too. They tossed in a couple of classics. Classic? I think that’s what they called them. Who knows what they mean by that, but hey, cars are fun.
Okay, probably the craziest new thing is these Force powers. Seriously, it’s a whole mechanic now. You’ll see holograms of Star Wars folks. Train with them, get a lightsaber, feel all powerful. But don’t get too excited. Just grabbing a lightsaber won’t give you Jedi abilities. You need to, like, train or something. Rey’s hologram gets you a blue lightsaber and Force Push—push stuff away like you own the place. Palpatine’s hologram gives you a red saber and Force Lightning. ZAP!
More powers are coming at some point in the season, so buckle up. They’re also rolling out weekly events in May. How’s that for keeping you busy? So yeah, Fortnite’s going all out with this Star Wars thing. May the Force be with you—or something like that.
