Alright, let’s dive into this mess of thoughts. So, Stellar Blade — what a curveball, huh? Launched out of nowhere last year and bam, everyone’s talking. Now, Shift Up, being the smarty-pants dev they are, seems like they’re gonna cash in with a PC version. Yep, and oh, a Complete Edition, too. I mean, who doesn’t love more content, right?
Oh! So there was this accidental drop by PlayStation’s YouTube — surprise, surprise. The trailer slipped out (got yanked down later, of course), but not before the internet sleuths grabbed it like seagulls on a hot chip. So, June 11 is the magic date for PC folks. And hey, PS5 users aren’t left in the dust — same day, they get the Complete Edition, too.
Now, what’s in this Complete Edition you ask? Buckle up. You get the full game — duh — plus some funky things like the Planet Diving Suit. Captain version, naturally. There’s also a Fluffy Bear Pack. Seems cozy, right? Plus, some Nikke and Nier: Automata DLC. Preorders get little treats too: Classic Round Glasses, Ear Armor Earrings (fancy!), and a white version of that Planet Diving Suit. Remember when it launched last year? Critics loved it! Got an 81 on Metacritic (don’t ask me how they scored it, numbers are weird), and critics were all over it. Picked up some shiny awards too — not just any awards, big ones like The Game Awards kinda thing. Oh, and in the PS Blog’s Game of the Year Awards, it snagged the Platinum for Best New Character. Quite the résumé, huh?
Sales? Oh boy, did it sell! Shift Up, in their generosity (or maybe sheer delight), tossed out a 5 million won bonus to its employees. That’s a neat $3,400 if you’re calculating dollars and cents. And, to sweeten the deal, a PS5 Pro for everyone. Not that I’m jealous or anything.
