Hey, so I heard this game, “Into the Radius 2,” is coming to this Quest 3 thingamajig soon. Or was it a 3S? Honestly, I lose track of these versions faster than I can blink. Anyway, it’s dropping later this month.
Picture a survival shooter where you’re stuck in this trippy, almost hostile land called the Pechorsk Security Zone. Yeah, sounds like the kind of place you’d write home about, right? You can go it alone or buddy up. That Estonian team, CM Games, first threw it out on Steam Early Access, and then bam, February rolls around, and they’re like, “Hey, Quest 3 folks, get ready!” And here we are, May 21 sneaking up on us.
But, oh, wait—hold your excitement horses. The Quest 3 version doesn’t have everything the PC one does. At least, not yet. CM Games say they’re going to catch up with updates, eventually. So if you’re itching for the Pechorsk Outskirts or those funky Distortion Zones, might want to chill a bit. Oh, and no cross-platform multiplayer “for now,” whatever that means. Quest 2? Forget about it.
Yet, there’s some good news! All the cool stuff from this recent ‘Ghost Town’ update—a catchy name, huh?—will be there, like chest rigs, proximity voice chat for co-op (because who doesn’t like shouting in virtual worlds?), and new shiny guns. Sounds like a proper inventory boost.
So, if you’re a Steam Early Access person, it’s available right this second. But if you’re holding out for the Quest 3 or 3S, mark May 21 on your calendar. Or don’t. Up to you.
