Real VR Fishing is taking a trip to the Southern Hemisphere. They’re rolling out this thing called the Oceania DLC on Quest next week. I mean, specifically, June 25. Kinda snuck up on us, didn’t it?
So, the folks at Devs United Games are saying you’ll get to check out seven spots between Australia and New Zealand. Picture this: alpine lakes, rocky coastlines, famous harbors. Some places might even be those tiny, tucked-away inlets that nobody talks about. Oh, and there’ll be over 20 new fish to snag. Heard of Bull Sharks or Mack Tuna? Yeah, them. Maybe even an Elephant Fish — did someone just make that up? Who knows.
Anyway, I saw this tweet (because that’s what people do now, right?) that got me all hyped. 🌊 Oceania DLC Launching June 25! They’re basically shouting at us, “Hey Anglers, new fishing spots!” Feels like they want us all out there casting lines, doesn’t it?
But here’s the kicker: we still don’t have the full scoop on the exact spots. A bit of a guessing game for now. If I stumble upon more details, you’ll be the first to know. Oh, and speaking of mysteries, will this DLC hit Steam? It’s a head-scratcher since the game landed on PC VR in December, but hasn’t seen this fresh update yet.
So, this Oceanic pack is just the next chapter of this ongoing ‘World Tour’ saga they’ve been on. Remember last December when they threw out three European DLC packs? Ah, Europe. Classics like Germany, France, Italy, and Spain with ten extra locations in that Europe Vol. 2 thingy. Took us on a ride, didn’t it?
Back to the present — or the near future, I guess. This Oceania DLC drops on June 25 for $6.99 on Quest. As for Steam or Pico? Still a mystery wrapped in an enigma. Stay tuned, I guess?
