Infinity Nikki. Yeah, that game. Remember it? Visually stunning, right? It’s that weird mix of dress-up meets open-world exploration. Anyway, it came out last year, but they’re not done with it. Oh no. Big update dropping this Friday—June 13, mark it. And this one’s a doozy.
So, they’ve got this thing called the Playful Season. Basically, it’s like the game threw a costume party. New story bits, puzzles, minigames—whole shebang. And outfits. So many outfits. It’s like your character’s wardrobe exploded. But in a good way, I guess?
Oh, side note: There’s this cursed fairy apprentice running around. Long story short, Nikki and Momo get zapped into fairy forms. Poof, just like that. Gotta love fairy curses, right? So, they’re off to la-la land, or some such magical realm. Lots of exploring and, I dunno, quests? Sounds idyllic until you’re knee-deep in challenges.
Now, here’s the kicker. They’ve got these new attractions. Imagine floating down a sky path with your pals taking photos. Or riding a pumpkin thingy that twists around like someone’s insane rollercoaster dream. And—get this—a chicken trampoline. Yep, you read that right. Chicken. Trampoline. Makes funky sounds when you bounce. Can’t make this stuff up.
Oh, and you’ll need your thinking cap, because—surprise—more puzzles. There’s this maze thing. Seven different ones, actually. Gotta hunt down petrified animals in each. Just thinking about it twists my brain. Hope I’m not the only one.
Let’s talk fashion. Five snazzy new outfits hit the scene. The top dog? Enchanted Encounter. Makes animals float, apparently. Handy, right? Got a couple of four-star outfits too. And then, some old favorites sneak back in. Just in time for nostalgia, or maybe just because, y’know, people liked ’em.
And don’t forget the new trinkets. Like, Nikki can chill on a rocking horse and there’s a potion cauldron. Belches smoke if you mess around with ingredients. Wicked fun if you’re into that sorta thing.
But who knows if it’ll turn the tide? The reviews, kinda meh right now. Mostly Negative if you can believe it. Maybe this update turns things around? Fingers crossed.
