Oh wow, so here’s the deal with inZOI — the buzz is back, right? After feeling like nothing happened for ages, there’s finally some news. Earlier this week, the crew behind this life sim came out of their shell with a release date for a new update. That thing they were calling the “May update”? Well, blew right past May, didn’t it? But hey, they gave us a real date for June, just recently. And guess what? Today is the day! And there’s a discount, too. Like, it’s small, but maybe enough to tip some folks over the edge to try it out.
So, yeah. This is the first time inZOI’s had a discount since it dropped in March. It’s all part of this big sale Krafton’s doing on Steam—like their debut publisher sale, no less! All 17 of their games are on sale ’til Thursday, June 26. Percent-off varies, but inZOI’s slice is a humble 10%. Okay, sure, it’s still in Early Access and wasn’t as pricey as a big AAA game anyway, so don’t hold your breath for a 20-30% cut just yet.
And this new patch? It’s got a bunch of neat stuff. ModKit for official mod support, same-sex relationships (nice touch!), and Zois can now have or adopt kiddos. There’s more, but that’s the gist.
Oh, and life sims are booming everywhere. Paralives, another hotly-anticipated Sims-style game, just announced when its Early Access launches on Steam. Meanwhile, The Sims 4? It’s teased the heck out of us with a trailer for Enchanted by Nature—that expansion lands in July. So yeah, life sim fans have a good bit to chew on right now.
